Thank you for comments everbody. One of the good things about these birds, no problem with what to do with the extra males or culls, there is a serious chunk of chicken there for the freezer. I should have weighed some when I was up there last week. The NPIP person was impressed. The passed their blood smear tests, will be a week or so for the throat swab results to come back, if that is an issue for for anyone.

How are the hens for egg laying? Any breeding culls I would like to be able to put in the egg flock, but I guess they can go in the freezer also?
