How old are BLRW when their combs start coming in? We have what I thought was a trio at around 9 weeks but now I think they may be all pullets...

Do any have red wattles yet? Post some pictures.

My black Foley cockrell over my line of blue and splash. Can'twait to see the results!! 150+ chicks hatched from three pens so far...and counting!!

I have 10 BLRW roos, and not a one of them are mean...We have one that when you walk into the pen sometimes he will fly up and land on your shoulder. He just talks and talks..pet him a little bit and then he is done. He flys down and folllows you like a dog. I love my boys!

Mine is pretty friendly. He's not the nicest roo I have, but he isn't going to attack me.

both my lf and bantams are sweet boys... that was also a worry for me when i first got them.

Thank you! Oscar is such a sweet baby boy. I really would love to keep him around, I would just hate to end up with another wicked rooster! It's good to know that BLRW roos have such a sweet reputation! If he stays sweet he can stay.......

Sooo, this is Oscar! He was bred by the Phage/Luvinbluechickens breeding team. I think he is beautiful! What do you all think? I have no interset in breeding and I have no idea what the "standard" is, so you're not going to hurt my feelings! Just wanted to show him off and get some opinions

Hi i was just wondering what the diffrent colors you can get from this breed?(splash, black...ect.). And also how to tell the colors apart. I have 20 eggs coming into the incubator tommorow so i just want to be ready.
