Thank you! That confirms what I suspected. Thanks for the info on the pullet too. I was hoping that was the case. Is she considered a Black Laced Red or just a darker blue?

Thank you! Makes my decision easier....
She is very pretty! It is fun to watch as they grow and change to their more refined coloring....Hi folks! I just have one BLRW, from a hatchery. But she has grown up so pretty, I wanted to post her here.
This is Blossom the day I got her:
I picked the darkest chick I could find because I was hoping for black laced. In the box there were some with black chipmunk stripes, some with brown chipmunk stripes and some with obvious splash stripes. Those were much lighter, and they looked like a different breed. In fact, I was picking some of those out, thinking they were Olive Eggers, until the store worker and I figured out they were actually more of the BLRW.
At 2 weeks old:
You can see how puny she was compared to the other two week old chicks.
Now at 4 weeks with the same RIR:
I seriously thought maybe I got a bantam instead of a large.
6 weeks:
8 weeks, again with the same RIR. Starting to catch up now.
And here she is last night, at 18 weeks. She ended up blue laced after all, and I think she may be my prettiest chicken! (Don't tell my Splash Marans I said that.)
I love how her different shades of ground color show through the lacing, giving her a stained glass window effect.
