another characteristic I've noticed is that the rose comb is wider on the roo-chicks, and has those hair-feathers that stick up around it.

is there anyone on here that is from PA? we have tried to hatch our own chicks but we either don't get any or they are boys lol would really like some BLRWs we fell in love with them after our first one hatched but had to be given a new home cause it was a boy
