the problem with that is you lose the intensity of the deep reds, since the splash gene also does affect the red pigments as well. to keep the red nice and deep it's helpful to go back to a black laced red now and then.I see, I just love the splash color, I would love to see my Whole flock that color!
They look so tiny..at that age they should have huge wattles if they are males. I can hardly see yours at all. I suck at sexing birds and I am really bad at Wyandottes. I think my whole flock is male till they drop an egg or crow, than I know for sure. I am going to say you have two pullets.
This picture quality makes the lacing look like they are edged in white. It might be my computer.
