I just wanted to see photos of what you were calling a red laced blue as I've never seen a bird that actually had red lacing on a blue base color, I'm not interested in having birds shipped (to far, to expensive).

That looks like a Blue Laced Red to me, not a Red Laced Blue. It's a splash with more of an orangey tone, but it's still called a BLRW.

For my education about BLRWs, is it the camera or are the colors true? Many pictures of BLRWs, for example the picture below, show what looks like white lacing and splash, yet are called "blue." I want to get to know the breed characteristics.

The colors are true, I have a hen that looks very similar to the ones in the photo. She's a splash with more of an orange tone than a deep red. I posted some photos earlier in this thread regarding blue vs splash that might be useful in seeing where the line is drawn between the two colors.
