I'm sorry but those are extremely poor quality if they are supposed to be Bantam BLRW. Here are a couple pictures of my Bantam BLRW that do very well at the shows.
they are splash. and they are very young

I have a few more darker red pullets from this year that I still need to get pictures of but they all have good lacing. The two pullets you are getting are unfortunately way too gold and have extremely poor lacing. Sorry![]()
They should still have better color. Mine hatch with better color. The lacing will not get any better. ALWAYS try to get the best quality you can. It is worth it, trust me.they are splash. and they are very young
Quote: even so, they are gold, not the mahogany red required. and that won't develop with age, even if the lacing does...
and the pics posted by Jen C are also splash... yes it dilutes the mahogany a little bit, but not enough to make it gold.
here's my splash LF girl.. and she's not perfect since she does have some shafting visible. she's also young. around 5 months old.

I'll be setting up my bantam pair soon, but haven't seen any signs that my girl is laying yet, so for now they continue free ranging (and he continues harrassing my cochins LOL).well do you know of anywhere else that has blrw bantams? in washington
