Blue Laced Red Wyandottes

I have been hunting for the BLRW thread and just cannot find it anywhere. I seem to remember seeing it before but it eludes me now. If you happen to have the link can you post it in the comments?

I have a love affair with the BLRW and bought some this year from a breeder and they have great coloring. I want some genetic diversity and I want also to play with crosses with the colors so I ordered eggs from another person and chicks from a hatchery (just a few to play with). So it should be interesting. The eggs are due to arrive tomorrow, the chicks next week.

These are my pullets who are not ready to lay yet but not too far off. I can't wait to see them all grown up.

Here’s my big boy, Flash. He was hatched on 15 July and has just learned how to crow! He’s figuring out the sex thing, but isn’t quite brave enough to try mating with the older pullets yet. I can’t wait to get some female BLRW chicks in the spring!
