Blue or Black Orpington?

I forgot to add earlier that she is a pretty little thing!

I had been joking about breeding my blue andalusion hen with a blue orpington roo, and shes kind of like what I imagined the outcome would be...

See, Tiffany? Told you it was a hard call for me. She is probably just a very dark blue if that's what others are seeing. Either way, she's going to be a beauty.

She sure looks like a dark blue to me...my black cockeral is very black with a greenish sheen to him...I have one black pullet turning that way too....

I am waiting to see if she ends up with the greenish sheen after her first molt. As of right now, she doesnt have it...????

I have a feeling I will be guessing for a while!

I vote dark blue, but I have no blue chickens, yet, so what do I know. I do have australorps and they really have the green sheen to their black. Her wings seem lighter blue to me and the butt fluff too. My black girls just look, well, black.
