So, this is the only pic I have of one of my 3.5 week old Blue Orpingtons. What do you think? Roo or Hen? I have three of them, from the same hatch. This one is the biggest.

Thanks!

I'll try to get better pictures tomorrow.

The pic is kind of blurry, but I don't think I'm seeing any pink in the comb, which could mean good news. But orpingtons are kind of late to mature, so it is probably too early to tell. Good luck!

From what I have been told, it is too early to tell on a blue Orp- if you can get a better picture, maybe including the leg size?

I'll work on getting better pictures monday...of all of the orps, and maybe you guys can help me with the cochins I have. They all came straight run, and I'm curious!

a week ago I got 5 blue orpington chicks that were a day or so old. 3 have very even feathering coming out and 2 are noticably not even wing feathing coming in. I'm assuming that I have 3 hens and 2 roos because of this. how is your chicks wing feathers?

Ok. So here are some pictures I was able to take today. Hope they work for you guys.

As for the wing feathers, the darkest of the three seems to have the MOST feathering, but all three have pretty complete wing feathers...

Number 1's feet seem MUCH thicker than the other two...

What do you guys think?!
