How did you obtain this type? Did you develop it yourself or did you get some eggs and hatch them? They are beautiful. I am just starting with chickens and reading and learning all that I can.

Many people have blue orpingtons. I got my original birds and eggs from Tuffoldhen, speckledhen and bamachicken. Since that time I have gotten eggs from several other breeders of this breed. Crossing those lines has given me my own line of bbs orpingtons.
