One of my year old blue breeders, darker than she should be but I like her "type"

I really like the deep rich coloring and neck hackles. The pigmentation managed to come out awesome. Mine ahave been similar but never had that dark of a body coloring.

Thank you, I'm ultimately trying to improve my mauves and it seems the lighter the blue, The more mauve coloring comes through... Darker blues produce almost a light chocolate.

They don't love it but they have the option to go in-and-out of the barn as they please and they usually still go out no matter the weather
