Gotcha down, Jill. Hopefully, they'll be laying well into fall. Lexie and Hawkeye sure do produce strong chicks, dont they, LOL. The Ameraucanas should be laying still, but this is my first cold weather season with both these breeds, so I can't predict how well they'll lay for me. My original flock is great, but then, they're hatchery birds bred for egg production, not breeder birds.
