I’m in NJ also. Do you sex the chicks? I’m getting new chicks in March.

I do not sex them but can tell when they are about 7 to 8 weeks old. I have 11 chicks now and they are 6 weeks old now

So if I want females only I would have to buy an older chick? I don’t mind. Do you vaccinate them for Marek’s? Do you breed any other breeds of chickens. I was thinking of going to Schaefer’s farm in Flemington for chicks this year, as my family friend uses them and the birds are very good quaility.
