Blue Plymouth Rock?

I got this little one at Tractor Supply about 4 weeks ago. It was in a tub labeled blue Plymouth rock pullets. From pics I have seen online the blue rocks look more grey in color. Is it still possible that she is a blue rock just darker?

Don't think so. The dark legs are a giveaway. Could be an Australorp though, which are good leyers.

Blue is a dilution of black, blues will create splash, black, & blues.

This chick was probably produced by breeding blue to black.

Curious if the above poster was correct - was your black "Blue Plymouth Rock" a cockerel? We also got one grey and one black from TSC (both labeled Blue Plymouths), but we're 2 months behind you (got them in late June).
