Blue Quail?

A man told me he would buy all the quail I could raise!

He said it didn't matter which kind but he would like blue quail.
So after searching I'm not sure which breed he was talking about.

I live in Western Ky.
Which breed do you think I should choose?

ETA: Unless he meant button quail, which I highly doubt.

I have had people tell me that they would buy every "QUAIL" I raised too, but they generally can't even pay the feed bill, not to mention the labor cost. Then when it's processing time, they don't show up, and baulk at the processing cost.

I'm not sure what species of quail your benefactor wants you to raise, but you should raise the species you want, make room in your freezer for the extras, because when you tell people that your birds cost $20/# they run away screaming.

if he meant blue quail as in the color he prob. wants mountains or valleys, but if he doesnt even know the name you may want to tell him to start with something a little easier... if e meant blue scales i have some but i am out of washington lol and just a price point for you my chicks go for 15 dollars a piece, my valley chicks go at 8 a piece and the average mountain quail in my area goes for 40 a piece so this guy must be loaded.
