Out of the 8 babies abandoned on my step Dec 29, Blue has emerged as my favorite. He sees himself as my other spoiled son. He can't crow worth a darn but he sure tries! He helps the duck sit her eggs, he protects the younger ducks from the Mallard Drake, he makes sure his best girl-friends Charlotte and Penny don't get run out of the food by the other hens. Here a few pics of him:

This is Blue in front of Whitey's nest, he's waiting for her to leave so he and Flat Top McNuggets and Cogburn can sit on her nest!
This is his best bud Flat Top McNuggets.
And this is Cogburn, he keeps Blue and Flat Top in line.
