Blue silkie cockerel is gone.

This guy was bought strictly as a pet...nothing else. And I am not advertising him as anything special. I just need to find him another "pet home".

I was only wondering because I was planning on buying some silkies early oct and wanted to breed them. I will be purchasing mine at a show close to us and wanted to know what was ok for breeding.

Good luck to you on your upcoming silkies. I'm going today to get some show quality lavender pullets myself. I'm so excited!

Someone I know had this little blue cockerel, and yeah, he's no Johnny Depp of the bird world (I wish!)

, but he was just too darn sweet and cute to pass up. And if he wasn't so aggressive towards the younger chicks (who aren't show quality either), then I would definitely keep him. Again, best of luck to you on yours.
