The title pretty much describes it, I have a young 3-4 month silkie, over the past 3-5 days I’ve noticed her comb was a bit swollen, and lumpy, but I thought that, since her comb is still pretty small, it was growing a little unevenly.
Today, when I went to give my mixed flock (chickens and ducks) their scraps, I noticed she seemed a little lethargic, and on closer examination, her eyes were swollen and oozing a pussy-looking liquid. A similar liquid was oozing from her nostrils, but that stopped after a while.
Right now she’s in our bathroom, in a cage on some old rags.
From what I’ve seen on the internet it looks like fowl pox, but some of the symptoms seem different.
Any idea what it might be?
I can post pictures if you want,
Thank you.
