Blue & Splash Ameraucanas...and one Welsummer Girl

I can't wait I am adding some Blue and Splash Ameraucana and Welsummers this weekend! I really am glad I looked up this post so that I can see the two breed together I am sure they will make stunning additions to my flock !

My recently hatched out Ameraucanas all look just like June. One is more blue than that, but the others are like her. They're beautiful. They're about 3 months old now.

I love your blue and splash Ameraucanas. Gorgeous and of course your Welsummer!

Wendy, I dont have a rooster for them, at least of their own breed. If you cross my BR rooster over one of the hens, you'll get barred Easter Eggers, like Zane's daughter, Panda. She lays sort of light, olive toned eggs. I may some day get a rooster for them, though. They have the best personalities! Just got a tiny blue egg today, so I think Snow is laying now.

Oh darn! If you do end up crossing them let me know! I know mine aren't full breed, so I don't think it will make that much difference. They started laying about 3 weeks ago, well one did and yesterday there were two eggs! They are very pretty pink eggs.

I'd be glad to get you some eggs to incubate when the younger girls' eggs are larger or, if I decide to incubate some later on, I'll let you know. I do enjoy those girls alot.
