    is there any way to get hens to GO broody?? i have 4 cochin hens i could put to work!!!

    theres technically no way to make them go broody, but with cochins and silkies it seems like if you just put out about 5-8 eggs in their box, they tend to see them and jump on the opportunity to hatch something
    You could put a couple of your own unfertile eggs in a box before the others are shipped to see if they'll go broody
