Blue- The Miracle Chick

She successfully hatched her chicks 4 days ago! She has 2 chicks called Thor and Wanda, and she is living with the rest of the flock in the new coop and sharing a nest with Pippin and her kids (Loki and Vision)

Here are Blue's two chicks, Thor (front) and Wanda (back). She does share chicks with Pippin so sometimes she has Loki and Vision too!

Blue has gained all her weight (she lost some when she went broody) back, still the biggest girl. She's a great mama and took over Pippin's chicks during the day

I had to take in one of her chicks last week because Blue was ignoring her during the day. Thor was being attacked a lot by another hen.
Blue tried to protect her against that hen but she gave up on that chick- she must have an internal issue preventing her from catching up. I would find her alone, trembling in the corner of the coop
I took the chick in last week and she's doing so much better
