Blue Wheaten Americana Chicks - What gender?

I did notice the legs and wondered about that. The breeder said they were blue wheaten americauana but 2 of them have a tiny amount of feathers on their legs so I wonder if he bred them with Faverolles or if they are actually Faverolles and not Ameraucana, which would be extremely disappointing!

they dnt look Ameraucana to me.. i dnt c fuzz where the beards would be and they have yellow legs and very little feathering on there feet. Favorelles have white feet with feathers and 5 toes and beards and have single combs which urs dnt seem to have. ur look like they could be EEs or somthing else. (not all EEs have slate legs)

they actully look like mixes but idk

Faverolles are awesome...

But for your sake I do hope they're ameraucanas. It's easy to tell- I don't think I saw any in the pictures- faverolles have five toes. So just check for that.

These are Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas. Never fear! I have 3 of these right now. You will be able to feather sex them, probably in another week when the neck feathers come in. If they are more goldish, those are pullets. If neck feathers are darker blue or black, then it's a cockerel. The pigment will come in the legs. They start out light with the wheatens. Number 1 I'm not sure yet. Number 2 is looking more pullet like. Number 3 is looking suspicious with all those black feathers but the neck feathers will really tell you.

There's a post on this thread from my breeder, chickee, commenting on the photos of my 3 W/BW ams. It's the 4th post down on the page.

And this post, she has pictures of her chicks and describes what to look for.

I have 3 chicks and I need to know which 1 is the roo. I am caring for 2 of the 3 for a couple who wants a roo and pullet and I need to figure out soon which 2 are theirs and which one is my pullet. Can anyone tell me which chick is the roo and why you think so. I can't end up with the roo so I don't want to make a mistake in my judgement. The chicks are 2.5 weeks old right now, born on leap day and the new owners want the pullet/roo combo asap :/
Any thoughts?
I have listed the chicks as 1 , 2 and 3

Chick 1

Chick 1

Chick 2

Chick 3

One of my chicks has feathers on his legs it is just a defect that is super cute. I have BW ameracauna chicks and mine look just like that

Thank you soooo much for the feedback! What a relief!

I think one of the chicks has black neck feathers coming in and in a week or so I will know for sure. Thanks again!

Well, I just learned this myself a few weeks ago and I'm happy to share the info for this color variety of Ameraucanas. You may have 2 pullets and a cockerel like I do. They are really pretty. So far mine are quite flighty but hopefully they'll warm up to me as they get bigger.
