Hello! I was sold a Blue Copper Marans, but someone made a comment they weren't sure if he was Blue Wheaten or Blue Copper instead.

I can't remember their reason why they questioned it, and it's way back in my Facebook history.

How would I find out which he is? Like what do I look for on him, or what he'd pass down to his offspring.

Thanks in advance!

Technically not Copper(No Mahogany/Red)He's Gold.

Thank you!! He's filled out a bunch since I got him and I love his temperament. 🥰
All of my Marans boys have very good temperaments also. I think they seem to be more laid back and chill. I had one this summer that was pretty feisty and slightly over/aggressive and dominant to the other cockerels but never towards me. I would be more inclined to that being him still very young at 20 weeks and hormonal. But he's been since sold.

Best of luck with your new guy.
