blue x buff crosses

id love to see your buff blue crosses. f1xf1. would be neat to see to. please show and share any expirence you have breeding buff to blue.

Blue over buff usually produces black and blue chicks with buff leakage. Primarily on the chest. Not sure how these birds will look then crossed together if that’s what you mean. Hopefully others who have done so will post some photos.

Will a buff rooster over a blue hen be a sexlink?

I believe you’ll get both black and blue with this cross, both with buff leakage. Not sex linked.

I see. I read that buff roo over black hens make a sexlink. I wasn’t sure if the same applies to blue. Either I think I’ll do buff roo over blue hen in one pen. And a blue roo over a buff hen In another pen then take the f1s from those to crosses who’s colors I like the best and put them together for the f2 hybrids.

I don’t really have anything specific in mind. Just nice birds with a pretty mix of blue and buff. Any advice is appreciated.
