Oops, you are right about sunfish. Probably right about carp, but carp used to be catchable by net, and suckers where also (maybe they still are). In regard to the sunfish error, I fish at a private group of ponds nearby where they want to eradicate the sunfish and carp, hence the netting permission. I concur that sunfish are good fare, I eat them myself.

In regard to carp, I am surprised they changed the rules. It is not like we are running out of carp. I will just get them from a guy who spears 25 at a time with bow and arrow. He does not use them in any way.
