Bluegrass Lovers Check-In Here

Most people think it is odd for a 24-year-old to have a love of Bluegrass music, but I do. I have caught people looking at me when I'm stopped at stoplights because I'm singing away to my James King or Grasscats CD. I tend to like the songs that tell stories or the bluegrass gospel.

Who else on BYC loves Bluegrass music? What is your favorite type and band?

Cherryholmes is probably my favorite bluegrass band at the moment. I also enjoy The Infamous Stringdusters. I saw the Grascals in concert a couple of months ago and they put on a great show.

I love bluegrass..always have. My parents used to take me to bluegrass festival when I was a kid. So much fun!!! Some day I hope to learn the fiddle.

I love Bluegrass music too! A few years back I took banjo lessons for a couple of years. Unfortunately life has kept me from doing anything but an occasional plinking.

Oh and I am 31 yrs old.
