BO hen bluish comb

Hi all, my 1.5 year old BO hen has what appears to be a bluish section of her comb. See pics below. Does this indicate something? She seems healthy with eating, drinking and energy levels. She is currently broody though. No roosters in the flock, just six hens who free range most days. Has anyone seen this before?

I've had BOs with a tinge of 'blue' now and then ... Is the coloring constant or during certain time of the day? From what I've read, it's got to do with blood circulation ... Her comb isn't very large, a few that I had their combs were big & flopped over. How is the heat factor in. your area? I never did anything for my girls but the tinge wasn't constant, came and went so assumed it was ok.

I have a hen who has the same issue. I was worried at first but I’ve kept an eye on it. It seems to be the same temperature (to the touch) as everyone else so I think she’s okay. I hope yours is as well!

At the time of my post the heat was pretty intense! Humid and 90s. Her comb is not as blue lately and the Temps are definitely cooler now. Sounds like our situations were similar!

Yours is a cutie! Mine's blue coloring went down a bit once the Temps fell from the 90s, thankfully!
