BO playing tricks

10:00 this morning-BO missing from the yard-saw she was on the usual nest that she shares with the BR. 30+ minutes go by and we hear her singing the egg song from inside the coop with the BR on the outside joining in on the song. Before I went to get the egg the BR goes in. An hour later My son checks and there is only one BR egg in the nest...What??? But the BO, that lays light brown eggs, was on the nest and sang when she was finished, what happened?

I went to check and yep, only one BR egg but opened the second nest box and BAM

, a light brown BO egg. She got me!

My BR played tricks on me yesterday. All I saw was Baby Girl go into the nest, then the biggest loudest egg song, and two eggs, but later in the day, Queen Bee laid her egg (also BR), So I think Fiesta (BR) snuck in when I was not looking & laid her egg, and then Baby Girl went into the same nest box & laid hers.
