Dog and pony time. Photos (second and third taken about dawn).
First figure a Google Earth image showing route Scoob takes when patrolling after dark. House to raccoon is about 900 feet while house to pens in pasture is about 400 feet. Loop is nearly 2,500 feet and Scoob can run it checking each pen or roosting group of birds in less than 5 minutes.
Neighbor's electrified run attached to mobile roost / henhouse about 900 feet from my front porch.
Closeup showing coon and two dead hens in livetrap on mobile roost / henhouse.
Scoob (German Short-haired Pointer) approximately 65 lbs.
