hi, pigeon-post hens here again, wats the weather like where you are its -8 hear in the UK (sussex) SEast uk

Things slow down during the late Fall and Winter, but start picking up about now... so hold on tight!

971 NEW members to go. I originally posted this in January with ~46K membership. We were up from November, 2009 with ~44K membership. Now we've grown about 4K in a month. So...I'm thinking it'll be in another 1-2 weeks and we've hit the magic number of 50,000 members on BYC!!!!!!! If the contest was still going, I think I'd pick February 27th as the date it will happen. We'll find out.

Ya, the growth is pretty amazing... just goes to show that everyone is doing their job with promoting "A chicken in every yard!"

I'd love to see us hit 50k members this month, but I think it will be closer to 3/3... well, unless everyone gets together and starts posting links to BYC on FB, blogs, craigslist, etc.
