I have never read the RIW Standard. This bird has lovely symmetry. Just a delight to behold.
Look at that stunning head. Start with the curve of the chin and draw a perfect circle around her head. See how the circle (counterclockwise) comes up around the front of the face, then top of the head, over it, around the back of the skull and joins up with the chin line? No the beak should not be in the circle.
That's lovely structure. Denotes an intelligent bird with good laying qualities.

The R.I. White has the exact same Standard as a Rose Comb R.I. Red the only thing different between the two breeds is one is Red and the other is White.
The R.I. White should be brick shape and should have a little less curves than the Frank Reese bird posted.
With that being said the Reese bird is the better R.I. Whites I have seen here on BYC.

Tis to be a popular cross nowadays to make somewhat of a replica of RIW is to cross Wyandottes and White Rocks. Bob mentions of it a little, back in some of the previous posts on her, that is if I remember correctly, LOL which sometimes is a gamble/wonder of its own.

The original R.I. Whites had White Wyandotte in them along with White Rose Comb Leghorn and Partridge Cochin. I believe some of the "R.I. Whites" today are just a cross of the White Wyandotte and a Rose Comb Rhode Island Red.

Thats what I see missing in this particular picture is the Leghorn/game type/influence(brick shape) was my reasoning behind my post of it looking to be of the popular fad of mixing wyandotte and rock to get a white rose combed bird. J/S

It does lack the brick shape and that is mostly do to that rounded chest and lack of neck in the front, IMO that bird looks a lot like a Wyandotte with a flat back.
