Erm. Did you mean to include a picture, or are you referring to the NH crosses discussed most recently... ?

He is asking about White Faced Black Spanish.

Bob there is a guy in Tennessee that has some but I can't remember his name. Steven knows his name, you may want to ask him.

Hi,
Might try here. Their website doesn't come up but snippets on it mention Spanish fowl.

Does he still have poultry? I didn't know there were BFS bantams in the US.

If he doesn't have them anymore, maybe he can share who he sold them to, as described on the website.

Mr. Urch also sells white faced black Spanish. The photos of fowl attributed to his hatchery (from one of the breed threads here on byc,) had nice, long backs. That is all I can really tell about them from the posted photos.

I use these Fortex rubber pans too. It's easy to kick out the ice in the winter. In the summer those rubber pans make great chicken wading pools. Haven't had one tip over or break yet. Been using them for a couple of years now.

Thanks Sarah. I was looking at some online last night. I just need to figure our what sizes I need. lol

I use them Fortex tubs also and really like them. It seem that if I use them in the summer for water the birds do not like the water from them. They act like it tastes bad. Anybody else notice that?

I do find that in the summer I have to scrub them very thoroughly every time I water (twice a day.) We get both a green slime and a pink slime that grows in them (don't ask me how, we have city water now), and periodically I bleach the pans to get it out of the fibers in the rubber. We've been using these things for, gosh, nine years now, and over time they do tend to break down a wee bit, and you see the fibers more close to the surface.

New ones have a fairly strong smell, perhaps the sun brings that out more and makes the water taste bad?
