Thanks!! She is one of my 2013 breeders, dam to about 1/3 of the 2014 hatch! She needs a bit fuller tail, but other than that has really nice type (BTW - Bob really likes her which tells me I'm doing "something" right, LOL)

She is MUCH better than her mother and aunts and her offspring (esp the pullets) are looking really good

I need to learn about breeding before I commit to buying better quality stock from a breeder, in terms of facilities needed and time demands etc. Does any one have some suggestions for books on breeding poultry? I am theory oriented, I like to know the reasons why you do something, but I get down into the details as well.
