You could try Ron Patterson and see what he got for whites this season. If he doesn't have one then Lacy Blues is correct, use a good salmon male. Since your chick is from a hatchery you may need to improve on type, and using a Dorking will make that more difficult.
Mitch it will be alright you'll get used to it and they will too eventually. Its just a phase of a newbie going thru the Curmudgeon club hazing process is all.
