This is pretty much on the APA description. Most of the ones I see now have a skinny neck and pinched tail.

Wow! I do not think I have ever seen a Houdan like that. The ones I used to have were nothing compared to that.

I think that according to Jerry Schexnayer, Malaysians are recognized in all colors.

Maybe that is what Jerry thinks, but they are only recognized in White by the ABA/APA. Possibly they are recognized in all colors by the Serama club and they do have their own shows.......but they are not recognized in an ABA or APA show. The whites were recognized at the Columbus show in Nov and the APA just recognized them a few months ago.

We had a lot of them here in CA that looked like this in the 80-90's and Barbara Piper up in Minn area had some outstanding birds.

Walt, Barbara Piper is from right here in Michigan and was more noted for her large Brahma. I believe David West got all of her Houdans when she got out of them.

Hers were really good birds as where her Brahma's...not sure how many people knew she had the Houdans. She showed them.
