I just set 84 bobs yesterday; hatch date of 9/16. I started out with an unreliable thermometer, so I'm hoping that a slightly fluctuating temp for the first day and a half won't hurt them. My new therm arrives tomorrow night.
I just finished a hatch of chickens that didn't go well, so I'm really hoping I've made all the right changes.
I had my bators out in an building I called the nursery , out side the house, anyway temps here got so bad and the temps wet very high before I just brought them back inside... Probs with their feet and lost more than usual
I just set 105 bob eggs that are due to hatch Sept. 15; First time for ordering eggs online and having them shipped, I got the eggs from Carolina Gamebird Farm in South Carolina. The eggs arrived packaged very well, ordered 100, got 105 and none of them were broken or cracked. I let them rest for 2 days before putting them in my Leahy 416 bator, now just have to patiently wait!!
