(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We are new to raising chickens. We purchased chickens at Tractor Supply and bought a coop from the Amish in the area. It was cheaper than building one ourselves.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Six
(3) What breeds do you have? Good Question, I forgot. I know they are good egg layers.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? It's better than watching TV.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Cocktail creation. I'm a bartender.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Gabriella have been together 40 years. Children are grown and we have a nice place with a flat backyard. I was with the newspaper for 41-years and have been bartending for 36-years. I only bartend now. It's too much fun to call it a job.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? Found this just by luck googling something about chickens.
