Bobcat

I had some predator issues when I first moved to my place. My property backs a high fence game ranch. Very abundant with nature here. My property was waste high, had to shred as we moved in to get to house. Live country living, however was I ever in for nature's lessons. I had dealt with four legged stalkers and flYing sorts. Seems a radio which my hens do like certain songs more than others... lol.. and motion sensor lights have been my best guards. I did spread soiled kitty litter at back of property as well.

Soiled cat litter works? Seriously?
Good lord, I could go into business with the amount of feline-waste-coated clay in my house...

But if that actually works, I'm gold...

Personally, I would not bet on it... I too have soiled kitty litter. I still have all kinds of predators here.

You can use electric fencing. There are impulsers that run off 12 V batteries. About once a week you'll need to bring it up to the house to recharge it. Keep your birds locked up until you figure it out.

Just reflecting back to 70-80s ....when I was younger and out hunting. I circled a long ridge that joined two hills and sat down to hunt. About 30 minutes later I seen something coming from the path I just took. As I watched through my scope it finally made its way into a clearing and I seen it was a Bobcat that was trailing me. I know it would probably cut and run at the sight of me, but my 30-06 and I laid it to rest in its tracks as I didnt like the idea of it trailing me.

Even before that, when we raised boo-coo of chickens, we found one pacing the fence line near the coop one day, 50 feet from our house. It too spent all 9 lives in a single moment as the 30-06 sung it a lulla-bye bye.
