Bobcats in area

Anyone have issues with Bobcats?

Deer, Turkeys, Raccoons, Hawks, and even an occasional fox. But Bobcats! They are in our area none sighted close to our house but they are 4 miles out or so. Anyone have experience with these bothering their ducks.

I live in CT and never seen one until the other day. Our pens are secure but I do let them free range which they love.

We have bob cats but haven't lost a duck to one yet, thinking only because my dogs are usually out most of the time the ducks/chickens are wandering around outside the gate. They will take ducks though so be prepared to either lock your flock up or take the chance, I choose to let mine out even though I know there is a risk, they wouldn't be happy closed up all the time. You have the right to protect your flock though if the need arrives.
