bobwhite breeder pen size

i just bought nine bobs 2 male 7 hens and am wondering about breeder pen size.i wanna split them 5 and 4.the cage i wanna use is a rabbit hutch my grand father built when i was youmger it has 2 levels that are 4footX2footX15inches is this to small if so i have a second layer on my corutnix cage that is two sets of 4footX3footX 20inches

They would like as much room as you can give them, but those dimensions don't seem too small. I have 6 (5 hens and 1 roo) in a 4x4' pen, and they do great.
