Bobwhite chicks hatching how long can you leave them in the bator

I knowwith chickens its ok to leave them until you think everything has hatched 24 to 36 hours. Is it the same for quail? Don't want kill the ones that have hatched but don't want to shrink wrap the others. Advice please!

I just leave them in until they are fluffy normally 3-5 hours I have had them start hatching @ 7am and been gone all day and they did OK after 6-8 hours I would not leave them in much longer then that

Leave them in there until they are dried off.

What kind of 'bator do you have?

Yes pull them soon as they dry off........yes they could wait overnight. Even with any new hatch even chicken, best to get them drinking and eating ASAP.
