I have 5 bobwhites,They are almost full grown and it looks like two males and three females. Will I need to separate the males this year or ever? Will they pair up or do I need to keep separate pens. Also since they are hand raised and very well fed will they lay this year or are they seasonal like the wild ones?

Just got bobwhite eggs for hatching and curious about this too...

Not 100% Sure, But All My Birds Lay After 1 Yr. If They Have A Very Large Space They May Do Fine In A Colony Or Covey... If They Will Be In A Smaller Space I'd Split Them Into A Pair And A Trio
