Hi! Welcome to BYC! Yes he can. My 2nd and 3rd were mean too. Now I have potentially 3 6 week old cockerels and I'm hoping one will be nice. In my case it could be because I don't handle my chicks a lot like others do. Perhaps that is what makes them sweet.
