Lol. Yes.. Alot of people pulled faces when they found out. I only started telling people when they were due to hatch. and only a few. Different reactions all round. But most thought i was insane from the faces they pulled. I'm sure you could tape it to your belly in a tissue and it would work all the same. I was worried if i told the wrong person they might try and slap me in the chest as a joke and break them... If you had a pet you could always fashion a little carry bag round to hang off the collar.. i've wondered if that might work. Even though they measure 34 degrees.

17 days. Still alive. But not hatching yet. It's late....

Coturnix is 18 days but it may take longer if your body temperature dropped at any stage. Just keep fingers crossed.

awww. It happens in incubators too.. don't beat yourself up.. I had one die during hatching too.

Bad you should try to wet your bra abit maybe you did not have enough humidity

The body has enough humidity lol. If you wet your bra bacteria would grow and kill the embryo.

Yes. I was planning to again when my holidays came up. So i could be home for the hatch rather than on the go. I think April.

However my mother thinks she has too many birds. So still iffy.

Same here, and I hate to waste a fertile egg. My job keeps me on my feet all day though. Is all that moving around gonna lessen my it's chance of hatching?
