Crow coughed then said in English; "Well, huma- I mean, err, River?" I think that's her name. If I get it wrong I can just say it's Linda's fault. "Do you like what Lynda is doing?"Linda shifted the human onto her shoulder again. "Nonsense, she likes it, don't you, human?"
Donella looked to her sister then shrugged and got up, grabbing a napkin to go around and look at Dorian's ear gently. "We don't have to go, but it would be good to know no one was hurt or anything." She said as she gently dabbed at the scratch, clearing away the blood a little to be certain it wasn't anything that would need stitches. Thankfully it was just a cut, so it would heal right soon enough. Not like they could put a band aid on his fur to keep it covered.
"I was joking, the food on this ship is fine. Chickens don't have to eat sunflower seeds, we just like them." he laughed. "I'm surprised at all the human food, though. Many alien ships, even rescue ships, don't have much selection of human foods."
Erin stamped through the halls, following the pipes to the loading docks. Maybe she could be alone there. Rounding the corner, she found the huge room blissfully quiet, with plenty of hidey places in between the spare engines, carbon transfers, and antimatter batteries. Breathing in the musky smell of grease, she just... stood there for a minute, soaking it all in. She was alone. Alone at last.
(Hey, who has Karaas? I can't find it on his char sheet.)
Narti sat in pleasant quietness for a few moments as her head cleared and the alarms went silent. What, it is more difficult than you would think always having to be a fun jokester. "So, seeing eye dogs, eh?" She heard about that but was always puzzled by it, "Seems strange." She said with a laugh. "Us Siri are told to deal with our disabilities and if you can't, well..." she trailed off from what she was saying with a low whisper until it was barely audible. Most Siri had wolves, but only really for guards, and for humans, well they were for bragging rights. "I mean, some blind aliens may have humans to help them out, but to be honest I've never even met another disabled alien, so I suppose I wouldn't know."
Adele flipped the switch as suggested and ran her eyes over the gun. She let out a low whistle of admiration. "Fancy," she said simply. Taking a small step forward, she swept her gaze around the room. "Yeah, I found this sweet spot right as you put your metal fist through the floor across." She nodded vaguely in the direction of the room they'd just come from. She could still recall the tremor the cyborg had sent through the building. She ran her hand across a crate top, slid the lid off and peered in. So much stuff and no one to use it. What a shame, really. If she had the means, she'd have it all shipped to her place to dole out as she wanted. For now, though, she would just come as she could and get enough to get her through a few weeks or months at a time. That is, if Sybil didn't have other plans for the building and its goods.Sybil turned around to face Adele and nodded realizing she probably couldn't see without her eye. "Light switch by the door. And yes, oh yes I found what I wanted." She replied with a grin as she hoisted the rifle up into the air for Adele to see once she flipped the light on. Her eyes focused on the beauty that was her new rifle, she had been looking for one of these her whole life. "There is plenty of other things in here though you should look around." She commented as she sat down on a crate and began checking the rifle over on her lap.
Donella finished doing what she could for the small cut, glad it was so small and would close on it's own in time. She smiled and threw the bloody napkin away then looked at the two again, smiling. "Alright, I'm going to see what was going on." She smiled a little at the dragon sleeping on her twin then waved and headed out.Dorian winced a touch when she dabbed at the cut, but was happy to have it looked at. "Well if you wish to go check I will stay here, I can take Nemra if you want to go with her." He offered to Lara in case she wished to go check on the others with her sister. Although he hoped she would stay so he could talk to her a bit about the potential of being his bond. Not that he had much to offer her at this point, he didn't have a ship or any form of employment at this point. But he wanted to give her the option, at least get the idea in her head.
(Honestly, she's a very good human expert, I mean, physical touch is big in humans. She's just never had any field training. We promises.)
Linda cocked her head, "Hang you? From what? You are hanging. Now are you going to sit or not?"
Crow decided to help Linda before she embarrassed herself. Err, embarrassed herself more than she already had. He flew swiftly down the corridor and out of sight. He transformed into a human and walked down the corridor, trying not to appear too hasty. He stopped when he reached Linda and River. <<Lynda, I think this poor human has had enough. I get it, humans like to save things. Now, you should really let her go before you get hurt.>> he said, sounding serious and concerned. He didn't know whether Worf had a translator or not...
Linda shifted the human onto her shoulder again. "Nonsense, she likes it, don't you, human?"
"Does it look like I like it?" River asked sarcastically "No."Crow coughed then said in English; "Well, huma- I mean, err, River?" I think that's her name. If I get it wrong I can just say it's Linda's fault. "Do you like what Lynda is doing?"
