Lara saw the rooster and pointed it out to Danika, though it wasn't that unusual. A lot of people had chickens and this one could have just gotten out on it's own. The sisters moved on, getting close enough to take pictures

Hmmmm. Gotta work on my stealth mode. Frosty thought, warily skittering around the humans.

Solana began packing up some of the things they had around camp, and handing out some food to those who were awake. When she got to where Jaxson and Ezor were sitting by the fire she stopped and looked around before asking them if they knew where the rooster had gone. "Where is that rooster? Frosty right?" She asked them, he was just there not that long ago. Not that she wasn't happy the darn thing was gone but she was surprised he left so soon, something didn't feel right.

Jaxson looked up at Solana and shook his head, "I have no idea he just left." He said with a shrug.

Frosty cautiously walked into camp, looking behind him to make sure the humans hadn't followed him. "Uhh, theres a couple humans checking out the remains of the spaceship."

Worf gave a small laugh "I suppose so". The silver he wolf came closer

Skyler laughed at the two and at Narti comments. "I should come on more missions with you! Not many people could beat me in a fight, too fast and too much training, but you come close." She said with a chuckle as she shook her head. "And yes Kaaras is coming with us, he maybe grumpy but he doesn't hate you. If anything he hates life, not individuals, not to mention he is handy to have around when you need something broken down." She said with a laugh thinking about the gruff fellow, he was like that with everyone, despite what Narti said.

"You know Narti I think I have a set of custom knives somewhere that would be perfect for you, well balanced, sharp as hell and they would extend your reach by a bit. If you think you could keep from cutting yourself that is." Skyler commented trying to remember where she stashed them.

"Aw, thanks. I'd probably do better in a fight if it weren't for the whole 'not being able to see' thing. And new weapons would be nice, thanks. Despite my nonexistent eyesight I think I can keep from cutting myself." Narti said to Skylar with a grin, pointing to the blank canvas of a face. She thought for a moment, about what Skylar said about Kaaras, "Well yeah, but I just wish I could cheer up the poor fellow. I wish he wasn't so unhappy all the time." She said with a little bit of concern.
After a moment of thought, she heard
the sound of a large canine approaching them, "Do one of us have a new friend?" She asked as she spun around on her heels to face the direction of where the sound came from.

"Yes. Somebody else" Odo said

Solana looked out over in the direction of where the ship had crashed. She then looked back at Odo with concern in her eyes. "We might need to pack up and hide then, we don't want to move to far from the where the ship was so that the rescue can find us, but we can't risk being seen." She said to him hoping maybe he would have an idea, as Erin at this point had kind of shut down with the loss of Patches, it was clear the only thing on her mind was finding the boy who caused this.

"The rest of us should pack up and set up site somewhere else." He said, agreeing with Solana. He looked to everybody carefully, to see if anyone would volunteer.

Lara and Donella were looking around the edge of the crater, debating with one another about what might have crashed...a meteor, a comet, an asteroid and jokingly a spaceship from Mars complete with the whistled theme from X-Files before they broke into laughter.

Skyler laughed at Narti, she was glad she wasn't the type to be down all the time about her condition. "Lets face it you probably still couldn't beat me even with eyes." Skyler said as she laughed and grinned but then continued. "Well I will have to dig out those knives, when I remember where I stashed them." She mused trying to remember where she put all her stashes would take a while, but she would find them eventually. "Kaaras like me has just seen a lot of stuff he would rather not have seen. Unlike me it wears on him, I think that is why he joined the crew. Give him a chance to do some good without getting in to all the heavy stuff. Give him time, he will warm up and come around, you know he needs a bond, that would probably help the old codger a bit, give him someone he has to deal with." She said with a laugh at the end. She liked Kaaras but Narti was right he was a bit of a downer sometimes.

Solana looked to Ezor he was right someone should go check it out, see if it was going to be a problem. When River volunteered she wondered if the whole mechanical wings thing would be a problem with earth humans, she guessed they would find out. "I'll go too," Solana said speaking up. When she saw Jaxson open his mouth she shook her head. "Nope you stay here Jaxson, help keep the group of kids calm, they know you better then me." She said simply to him. She could tell he was bummed a little bit but it was for the best.
