"A real family...?" Lara started then trailed off, keeping her eyes on where she was stepping. It was nice to have that feeling of a real family instead of a broken one like she had. She sighed and shook her head to not think about that right now.

"At least you had- after that something." River said "You and your sister wont be hurt, I was not." River said trying to help

Solana looked first to the two girls and then to River. "The Huronians that took me in after I was saved from my first owner game me a job and a home on their farm. They were very kind to me in my mind it made up for any, hurt I had previously. When I could no longer stay with them I came here of my free will, joined those picked up with you River. If I could make a difference in the lives that those taken from earth have, make sure they don't go to slave markets and the like I would. People can still have good lives out there, I want to. And she is right you won't be harmed, the crew is not like that." She said reassuringly to Lara and Donella, giving River a nod of thanks for speaking up.

Dorian continued on his walk, he checked his sensors, whatever was following him was getting closer. He looked again, it almost looked like a bird of some kind. He thought about that for a moment, he only knew of two birds that were both brave enough to follow him and had the brains for it. He paused and looked in the direction of the bird before calling out. "Frosty is that you?" It was a long shot, he had met the rooster once on his travels before crashing on Earth and he knew the likely hood that they were both here at the same time was slim but he decided to take a chance. He wasn't even sure if the rooster would remember him, Nemra had tried to eat him once before, but that would hopefully all be water under the bridge.

Lara and Donella looked from one to the other of them before Lara spoke up again "What are Huronians?" Most of the rest at least made sense, but that was a new word and neither knew it. "Are they like the talking rooster?"

Frosty froze. They knew his name... and he recognized that voice. It belonged to the Melee guy with the evil dragon. Oh, I remember him. I guess I should just show myself, no point in trying to hide from someone with a tracking device. Frosty let out a loud crow in response, then scampered through the undergrowth, trying to catch up with Dorian.

Solana was surprised by their curiosity it was a good sign in her opinion. "Like the talking rooster? Oh Frosty! No Huronians are, uh they are a bit more then a talking rooster. Imagine something like a Rhino, on steroids, with think patches and scales and more horns. They talk but their language is a bit hard to understand without a translator, its very guttural and has lots of grunts and such. They look a whole lot scarier then most actually are. There are none in our company, at least not anymore, sadly the Huronian that was with the crew he died in the crash. No the only aliens in our group right now are Feral and Melee." She said factually as they walked, she wanted them to know as much as they could. After all it was unlikely at this point that they would be able to wipe their memories.

Dorian smiled as the rooster came towards him. He reached up to Nemra and grabbed her tiny muzzle. "No you behave this time dear you hear me? No eating the rooster!" He said firmly, loud enough that Frosty could hear just in case he was still upset about it from last time. He wanted Frosty to know that it would not happen again. Nemra huffed and clicked her teeth grumpily but bobbed her head in acknowledgement and wrapped her tail around Dorians neck.

"Frosty long time no see! How did you end up here?" Dorian asked in greeting as the rooster approached.

Frosty tried to catch his breath, all the while watching Nemra carefully. "Well, you know how it is. I can't do any jobs so I have to forage for food. This time I decided to land on Earth." The little rooster shrugged, "Then I got caught up with some human-trappers who crashed here. They and their little group of humans are down there, thats the smoke coming from their camp."

Dorian got a bit excited at the last part, that meant for sure he was getting off this rock! "You don't know how happy I am to hear that little buddy. I have been trapped on this forsaken rock for two years since my ship crashed. Looks like I finally have a way off! You know you have your own small ship and above average intelligence why don't you start up a shipping trade? You could haul small but valuable goods in exchange for food or credits, it could work. If you want help setting it up let me know, you deserve more then just scrounging." Dorian said to the small rooster, hoping to help him out. He headed towards the smoke from the camp gesturing for Frosty to accompany him.

Lara thought about that as Donella took over talking for the moment. "Sorry you lost him. Who's Feral and Melee? What kind of aliens are they?" Yeah, since she was answering they were going to let their curiosity lead their questions.

Frosty looked at him in shock. "You were stuck here for two years?! Why didn't you send out a distress signal?" Frosty looked thoughtful when Dorian mentioned a shipping trade. "Well... perhaps. But how would I defend myself? I feel like I need a job where I can have the help of a team." he clucked as he followed Dorian.
