(So, Linda is human extraordinaire of the ship, so she takes care of feeding, caring for, and healing dem. She can also answer any questions the aliens have about human wierdness.)
(Erin's got some basic navigation skills)
(Star can kind of do some hand to hand combat. Never really picked up a gun, or wanted to. She's kind of funny about that.)
Erin rapped on the metal door frame just outside the control room. "Captain?" In the chair, white hair flowed over the back, reminding her of the girl who had first directed her to the ship. Her eyes flitted up to the screen. This was about the spot where Patches usually switched into autopilot. She could stand to be bothered now. "Progress report."

Five to ten days was a long time to wait. How deep in space could they be by then? She glanced around the room, and was in the process of asking where they were going when the ship lurched into motion. Fortunately, Linda had finished the stitching by then. She rolled over to face River "Erm, so if we're related, what does that mean? Do you want, like, a copyright or something? A cut on the profits of the products with my face on them? I can get your name on stuff, I guess." She might as well bring it out in the open. If she was so insistent of their relationship, there had to be a reason and a catch, right?
***After Linda had rinsed the needles and put the box away, she pulled two syringes out of the cabinets, and approached River with one. "Roll up your sleeve?" She asked, crouching down to get a get a better angle on her shoulder.
(I later found that you actually don't have to stitch something up for like three days, and bullet wounds don't need to be sewn up, but maybe Linda doesn't know that. And plus the exit hole would be the only one needing stitched, and it would be in her butt judging by the angle of the shot...)
(Cool, so did we decide on whether or not the Melee are a race of cat people? )
Skyler heard the knock and swiveled her chair around so she could face Erin. She had set the ship into FTL and it would continue on course to the destination she had put in before dropping out of FTL so it was fairly safe to leave the console be. She knew Erin had been responsible for the crashed ship, although she should have had a partner. Since she hadn't seen a giant Huronian around her she had assumed he had died in the crash. She had not asked about it, giving her a short time to grieve and then tell her what happened. She had planned to seek her out and get a report of what happened but Erin had saved her the trouble. "So care to explain what happened to your ship?" She asked fixing Erin with her golden eyes as she folded her hands in her lap.
