There was an edge in her voice, but she didn't really mean for it to come out that way. She didn't trust this girl. And she wasn't sure she would even if the blood tests said they were related. What did she want? It had to be something.

(Are you referring to Narti for the "looks like she can kill you but is a cinnamon roll"? I messed up on her personality, in no way is she dark and serious.)
